I have installed the two files contained within the hot fix, however it hasn’t made much difference. Still experiencing performance issues when opening DWG files containing large numbers of block references. The issues come about when working on drawings that contain a lot of blocks.
The symptoms listed on the hotfix seem to cover all bases;. Noticeably when i’ve performed a task, saved, or closed a block it takes 5, 10 maybe 20 seconds to regenerate.
I’ve read elsewhere that the amount of blocks found in the ‘recent blocks list’ can have an effect, and they seem to sit here from other drawings so i ‘remove from recent list’ often.
